Fourth Generation 
Ellison fought in the War of 1812.
Both sons married Cox sisters.
When the 1850 census was taken, Ellison, Sarah, John Robert, Elijay Mosely and their wives were living in Fayette County, Georgia.
On the 1860 census, Ellison and Sarah were residing in Heard County and had two oldest grandsons living with them. Presley M., son of John Robert and Ellison M., son of Elijah Mosely.
Ellison married Sarah "Sallie" DOROUGH in 1814 in Putnam County, Georgia. Sarah "Sallie" DOROUGH died before 1870.
Their children were:
+ 33 M i. John Robert GROSS was born in 1825 and died in 1863.
+ 34 M ii. Elijah Mosely GROSS .22. Daughter GROSS (Solomon Jr7, Solomon Sr.2, Jonathan1).
Thought to have married a Corum.
30. Annie Mae GROSS (William Jonathan12, William Dunbar5, Jonathan1).Daughter married CORUM.
Annie married Elmer.
Their children were:
