GROS, Felix

   General Notes:

Felix, Hans and Hendrix Gross came to this country from Rotterdam, Holland. Hans and Felix cam onboard the ship "Frances Elizabeth". George Vorth was the ships captain. The third brother, Hendrix came later.
After landing at Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, Felix moved to Salisbury, North Carolina (Rowan City). Hans soon moved to North Carolina.
The name Gross is of French origin. It was originally spelled Gros and was pronounced "Grow".
