GROSS, John Robert

   General Notes:

John Robert married again and lived in Chambers County, Alabama. His children except for Presley were with him and his second wife. She was a widow with children when John Robert married her. Her maiden name was Dunson. In the 1860 census, there were several Christler or Cristler children in the house with John Robert, his second wife, and his children from his first marriage. It is assumed that those children were hers. The second marriage was short lived. They possibly were divorced, but that is not known for fact.

John married Elizabeth Ann COX. (Elizabeth Ann COX was born in 1832 and died in 1879.)
